Welcome

Hello!

And welcome to my blog. Please silence all cell phones, pull out your paper and pen—maybe a thesaurus if you want it—and keep all unnecessary accoutrements (such as arms and legs, noses and toeses) inside the vehicle at all times. After you’ve followed these guidelines, we can take off.
Take off to where?
Why, Nowhere! Didn’t you know it was a place? It is to me, at least. Nowhere is where I go when life gets hard. When the car ride is noisy and nerve-wracking, or the words just won’t flow, or all of a sudden life gets turned on it’s head and an escape from reality is needed. Nowhere is where I write, where I think, where I always am no matter how attentive I seem to be listening to what you’re saying.
I suppose I should give a disclaimer. Unfortunately, I am not a professional writer. I’m a regular old writer who enjoys bleeding onto paper her very soul. I’m still learning, just like we all are. But I might as well give a try to working towards my goal: doing what I was made to do, how I was intended to do it. Publishing? That might come at some point; for now I just put one foot in front of the other and plod onwards.
Please keep in mind that all my personal writing on here is not to be copied or shared outside of this website. I greatly appreciate your support through reading my posts and sharing my blog with your writer/reader friends! As a collection of incredibly weird and sometimes-annoying people, we need to stick together as we steer this huge ship.
Thank you so much for joining me on this incredible adventure. It’s scary and mind blowing and, at many times, daunting. My current plan is to put up a new blog post every Friday, and after a few weeks rotate book reviews and short stories twice a month. Of course as with everything, this is subject to change.
And now, without further ado, I welcome you into my world: The Association of Dreamers, a Gathering of the Adventurers, a Collection of Perfectionists. As O’Shaugnessy so accurately said, “We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams!”
Come with me, into “a world of pure imagination!”
-Writing on,
Abigail Grace
